RIG Arts – Light Up project evaluation  

Greater Renfrewshire and Inverclyde LAG worked with Inverclyde based RIG Arts to deliver two community led events in January 2023. The ‘Light Up’ events were presented as Alternative Burns Supper Trails, aiming to harness creativity and encourage the use and appreciation of Inverclyde’s rural resources and greenspaces. The events successfully explored the connection between greenspaces, creativity and mental health& well-being.

Feedback from both Light Up events and workshops was extremely positive and attendance numbers greatly exceeded initial expectations. Both events attracted many local visitors and helped drive tourism by attracting attendees from throughout Greater Renfrewshire and Inverclyde area, the west coast and beyond.
